Use a ship with missiles to destroy the silver plated blocks inside the panel at the top that opens. Head back in your ship and fly east to the giant circle that's shooting giant purple rays on occasion. Either use Jar Jar or the diving board to retrieve it. Yank at the grapple hook and the Minikit will reveal itself. Interact with it and a swimming pool will emerge. Head to the southeast part of the landing pad and you'll notice a console for C-3PO. With all buttons pressed the minikit will appear. Grapple onto the container in the corner and ride the first cart onto the first button and then take the second cart and ride it all the way to the last button and continue to the second. Jump back in your ship and destroy the pod outside to receive your Minikit. Then, use Robonino to interact with the console, and the pod will fly out to space. Use a Rocket Clone to destroy the silver-plated piping between the pod and the console and then grapple the new cord into place.
You'll notice a stationary rocket pod just begging to be sent away.
